Circular Timber Handrails for Wales Office Development

Haldane UK has carried out the full and supply and fit of the circular timber handrails for an office development in Wales.

The steel staircase featured structural glass balustrades and finished with Haldane’s timber handrails which were fixed via custom made connectors.

The project required absolute precision with the oak timber handrails having to be exactly 42.4mm in diameter to ensure they fitted perfectly with the stainless steel connectors.

With 138,080 sq ft of office space spread over 9 floors, the development aims to provide state of the art facilities with private corner terraces and a roof terrace

Bespoke Oak Handrail

Haldane UK has manufactured and supplied this stunning European oak handrail for one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of bespoke high quality joinery products.

The stunning double winder staircase was manufactured in solid oak by Kingerlee Joinery and features open cut treads with decorative mouldings.

Haldane were asked to manufacture the continuous bespoke handrail which twists and turns flawlessly from the atrium area to the large wreathed volute on the bull nose tread.

Luxury Staircase for Scottish Home

Haldane UK has manufactured this stunning luxury staircase for a home in Scotland – the third staircase of its kind they have manufactured for the family.

Manufactured from American White Oak and French polished on site to achieve the Jacobean Oak finish specified by the client, the fantail staircase creates a grand entrance to the reception area.

The cut string staircase features 45mm timber spindles and bespoke continuous handrail which flows effortlessly up the split stair section to form the atrium area.

Helical Staircase for Luxury Victorian Property

Haldane UK has manufactured a stunning helical staircase featuring solid timber treads, decorative metal balustrades and a bespoke timber handrail for the refurbishment of a luxury Victorian home in Edinburgh.

Manufactured from American White Oak, the staircase combines contemporary and traditional styling with the light timber, granite grey balustrades and curved open stringer with a large bull nose tread.

The bespoke 58mm x 56mm profile handrail spirals effortlessly up to the gallery area via a 90 degree raking to horizontal wreath and finishes perfectly with a volute.

Bespoke Handrail for Staircase Refurbishment

Haldane UK has manufactured and installed this bespoke handrail for a staircase refurbishment in a luxury London property.

Manufactured from FSC® accredited European Oak, Haldane created the bespoke 50 x 58mm profile which was designed to sit on a metal core rail.

To ensure a perfect fit and reduce installation times, Haldane carried out a full 3D digital survey of the core rail to provide an exact profile of the metal balustrade, including any slight twists or issues that otherwise would not be picked up.

Bespoke Handrails and Capping

Haldane UK have successfully completed a major supply and fit handrail and capping project for a luxury 10 storey apartment development in London.

The project features over 200 linear metres of 48mm diameter bespoke handrails with a flat section to the bottom to sit on wall brackets with ramps, 90 and 180 degree bends 

Haldane also manufactured 136 linear metres of timber capping with 24 metres of curved capping with 90 and 180 degree capping bends.

The large capping section measured 208mm x 55mm with a 27mm rebate.

Haldane has manufactured and installed this stunning oak staircase featuring continuous a bespoke oak handrails for stairs, open stringer and decorative metal balustrading for a luxury new home in Scotland.
 
The elegant fantail staircase is defined by the large bull nose treads which flare out at the foot of the staircase, before sweeping up to the curved gallery area.
 
The profiled oak handrails sit on a metal core rail, with decorative powder coated steel balustrades and is finished beautifully with wreathed volutes.
